Who is eligible to apply for financing?

  • Private individual, aged 18 or older, who declares income. The order and respective invoice holder must be the financing holder.

When will the first installment be charged?

  • On the 1st business day of each month, by direct debit from the bank account specified in the contract.

Can I add a second holder to my contract?

  • Yes, as long as they are a direct family member (e.g., parent or spouse).

Is it possible to amortize or settle the credit contract early?

  • Yes, simply contact Cetelem for details on how to proceed.

How long does it take to process my credit application?

  • A response may take up to 2 to 3 business days. If accepted, you will receive your contract by email.

Is it safe to sign documents digitally?

  • The digital signature process is provided by Inforcert, a certified partner under European electronic signature legislation. This process involves sending a unique, personal, and non-transferable code to each client, allowing them to sign their contracts digitally. Through this process, your digital signature has the same validity as a handwritten one, as if you had signed the contract on paper.

Who is Infocert, and why does this company issue a certificate for my digital signature?

  • Infocert is a certified entity, selected by Cetelem, responsible for the technological process of digital signature in accordance with European electronic signature legislation. Learn more about the company here.

In what format should I upload files with my documentation?

  • You can upload documents in PDF, JPG, and PNG formats. Note, each document must not exceed 8MB.

I did not receive the SMS to sign the contractual documentation digitally. What should I do?

  • The SMS code, personal and non-transferable, is sent directly to the mobile number provided during the credit application process. If you did not receive it, request a new code by selecting "didn’t receive a code?" and a new SMS will be sent. If you still don’t receive the SMS, verify that the mobile number you entered during the credit application is correct. To do this, check the particular conditions (1st page) of the contract automatically sent to your email to confirm the mobile number is correct. If it is not correct, please contact us at 21 721 90 00 (Customer Support on business days from 9 am to 6 pm).

What is the Application Status?

  • An area where you can check the status of your credit application, sign your contract, and send documents digitally. To access this area, click here, enter the NIF and mobile number, and you will receive an SMS with an authentication code.

How can I access the digitally signed contract?

  • If your application is still under review, you can view the contractual documentation you signed in the "Application Status" area. After approval, you can temporarily view your digitally signed contract in the "Application Status" area. Once signed, your credit contract will be available in your Cetelem Homebanking, accessible at all times.
